Microsoft OneDrive frequently locks files in the "Documents" folder for syncing, preventing Dolphin from renaming or writing the temporary FST file.
The Dolphin Emulator error (or the closely related "Failed to rename temporary FST file") is caused by a file system permission conflict that blocks Dolphin from updating its virtual Wii NAND system files . When Dolphin emulates the Wii operating system (IOS), it frequently updates a File Name Table ( fst.bin ) to manage saves, system data, and internal configurations.
